About the Firm

Focused Expertise in Flood and Stormwater Engineering

Creel Flood & Stormwater Engineering is a specialized civil engineering firm providing hydrologic, hydraulic, and floodplain engineering services to developers, municipalities, and civil engineering teams across Texas and Florida.

Built Around a Single Discipline

Creel Flood & Stormwater Engineering was founded on the belief that clients are better served by a firm that goes deep in one discipline than one that spreads thin across many. Flood and stormwater engineering is technically demanding, regulatory-intensive work — and doing it well requires focused experience, not generalist coverage.

The firm was established to fill a specific gap: providing the kind of specialized hydrologic and hydraulic analysis that development projects and municipalities need, delivered with the responsiveness and direct communication that larger firms often can't offer.

Every project is handled personally by a licensed Professional Engineer with dedicated experience in floodplain analysis, stormwater design, and FEMA regulatory processes.

How We Work

We take on a focused project load so every client gets direct access to the engineer doing the work — not a project manager relaying messages to a junior staff member. When you call or email, you reach the PE responsible for your project.

We're experienced working as both a primary engineer of record and as a specialist subconsultant embedded within a larger civil engineering team. Either way, our goal is the same: technically sound deliverables that move your project forward.

What We Stand For

Technical Rigor

Every analysis is performed to a standard that holds up under regulatory review, peer scrutiny, and real-world conditions.

Direct Communication

You work directly with the engineer on your project — no layers of project management between you and the technical work.

Regulatory Fluency

Deep familiarity with FEMA processes, NFIP requirements, and state and local stormwater regulations in Texas and Florida.

Project Focus

A deliberately focused project load means your work gets the attention it deserves, not the attention that's left over.
